Dr. Bonnie Phillips is an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Counseling Program at John Brown University’s Little Rock campus.  

Bonnie received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1995 and her PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2004. Her coursework includes Sexuality, Addictions, Group, Marital Therapy, Brief Therapy, and Crisis Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas and is a Certified Sexual Addictions Therapist and Supervisor, Certified Multiple Addictions Therapist, trained in EMDR, and is currently undergoing certification in Somatic Experiencing. She has been a guest speaker at several national conferences including the International Institute for Trauma and Addictions Professionals conference.

Dr. Phillips has practiced individual, couple, family, and group therapy in a variety of settings including outpatient, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient working with adolescents and adults. Most recently she has been working in private practice in Little Rock.
