Steve and Jan are on staff with FamilyLife and both have degrees in pastoral ministry. Steve has pastored for nearly 30 years while Jan is a grief specialist and funeral celebrant with a background in social services. 

They are currently working with the FamilyLife Expansion team to reach couples in stepfamilies. Their driving passion is to see stepfamilies win and thrive and for all blended-family marriages to be lasting marriages. 

They have been married for 10 years and live in Des Moines, IA. Steve has three adult children and they have three grandchildren.
