Can I register the day of the event?
We expect the Chesapeake event to sell out. However, if there are any seats available the day of the event, they will be available for walk-up registration.
What is the cost for the event?
Early Bird pricing is $119 per person or $99 per person if you are registering 2 or more people. Regular pricing begins October 1st and is $129 per person or $109 per person when registering 2 or more people.
The cost for Summit Immerse is $25 per person.
Will there be Summit Immerse during the 2019 Summit on Stepfamily Ministry?
Yes! Summit Immerse is a half-day deep-dive with Ron L. Deal and other experts. This year's Summit Immerse will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd from 1:30-5:00 PM at Community Church.
Cost is $25 per person and can be added on to your Summit registration.
This year's theme is Avoiding a Crisis: Money Management in Blended Families
Are lunches provided during the event?
Lunch will be provided on Thursday and Friday of the event. Please note that we cannot make dietary accommodations. If you have a strict diet, please feel free to bring a lunch or visit one of the local restaurants.
What is your cancellation policy?
Up to seven days after the event date, guests may request a refund for the event if not attended. Contact us by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org to request the refund minus a nominal $15/person processing fee.

Will childcare be provided?
Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide childcare at this event.
Where do I park and is there a cost?
Community Church has plenty of parking and there is no charge. When you arrive at the church, please follow any Summit signage to ensure you part at the correct door.
Does FamilyLife have recommended hotels with preferred rates?
Yes! Please check our travel page for more information.
Are there shuttles provided from the hotels?
FamilyLife does not provide shuttles but hotels occasionally do. Please check with your hotel for more information.
I'm from out of town, what is there to do in the Chesapeake, VA area?
Located in the center of Coastal Virginia, Chesapeake is known as a place of great historical and cultural significance, as well as being the home to a whole host of natural beauty spots. There are over 22 miles of waterways in Chesapeake that include canals, rivers, and lakes.
Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, and Richmond are all in close proximity to Chesapeake and provide a wide array of sightseeing experiences. Please check out www.virginia.org for ideas and information.
