Kim Hill

Kim is the Director of the Harpeth Hills Counseling Center, a role she has held after serving for six years as the center's Office Administrator. With over two decades of experience in the corporate sector, Kim has worked with a diverse range of companies, including those in software development and sales, publishing, and leadership training for Fortune 500 executives. Additionally, she has contributed her expertise as a board member for both nonprofit and corporate organizations.

Blake Hudspeth

Blake and his wife, Danielle, have been married for 16 years and have two children. A native of Arkansas, Blake has served as Associate Pastor of Summit Church in Conway since 2013. He holds a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Raised in a blended family, Blake is passionate about supporting families navigating similar dynamics.

Tim & Olivia Smith

Tim is Founder and President of Nonprofit DNA, a development and consulting agency. Currently, he leads Blended Not Broken, a resource ministry assisting blended families. He is the author of Donors Are People Too and What Have I Gotten Myself Into.

Jim Anderson, PhD

After serving nearly 28 years as family minister and director of the Harpeth Hills Counseling Center, Jim Anderson has retired from those responsibilities. In November, 2024, he will return to the Counseling Center to work a few hours each week providing marital and family therapy.  His doctorate is from Texas Tech University, and his Master of Divinity is from Abilene Christian University. He is licensed in Tennessee as a Marriage and Family therapist, and he is trained in using EMDR to assist clients suffering from trauma and codependency.  Dr.

Candice Colclough

Candice, born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, is the vibrant co-host of the new "Marriage Stronger" podcast and a passionate marriage ministry leader at her church. Growing up as the middle child and only daughter, she now navigates life in a "double blended" family with her husband, Harold. Their lively household includes Cassadie (18), Calvyn (16), Hudson (12), Havyn (9), and their newly adopted daughter, a 10-year-old they met through Second Chance Ranch.

Tammy & Jay Daughtry

As adult children of divorce, single parents, and stepparents, Tammy and Jay S. Daughtry have an immense passion for children and parents impacted by divorce and remarriage. They both have a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, and Tammy founded Co-Parenting International, an organization aimed at helping divorced/divided parents raise healthy kids in complex families. Together, they opened The Center for Modern Family Dynamics to provide counseling, relationship coaching, and support for individuals, couples, families, and leaders. 

Cheryl Shumake

Ask Cheryl about her greatest adventure and she’ll tell you, “That I know and love Jesus and get  to make Him known.” She is a Bible teacher, author, speaker, and founder of Stepmom Sanity, a  Christ-centered sister circle of support, providing help and hope for stepmoms who are “there” from stepmoms who’ve been there.
